Aimpavee is an Analyst at the Vriens & Partners office in Bangkok. She provides Thailand-focused clients in the F&B, hospitality, and tech sectors with in-depth policy insights and regulatory analysis.
Prior to joining Vriens & Partners, Aimpavee most recently worked at the Department of International Economic Affairs under the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she helped organise the 2022 APEC summit that Thailand hosted. She also has extensive experience as a professional researcher at various civil society organisations and academic institutions. She monitored trade and security developments at the Bangkok-headquartered German-Southeast Asian Centre of Excellence for Good Governance and Public Policy, while at the Raks Thai Foundation – the local offshoot of the humanitarian agency CARE International – she was responsible for data collection in support of environmental protection and women’s empowerment programmes. As the research director for Young Urbanists of Southeast Asia, she led the organisation’s compiling of studies on urban ecology issues such as housing and mobility, topics which she also explored during her time at the Taiwan Architecture and Building Center.
Aimpavee graduated from Thailand’s bastion of progressivism, Thammasat University, with a bachelor’s degree in international relations. She also holds a master’s degree in management studies (urban governance) from National Taipei University. She is also a trained courtroom interpreter accredited by Thailand’s judiciary.
