Anthony Abad specializes in international trade law and provides technical advice and assistance to multinational corporations as well as international organizations, and government and academic institutions on matters of international trade policy and regulation, competition law and policy, and good governance. Anthony Abad is a member of the Philippine bar and has been in legal practice for 17 years. He is a lecturer on international trade law at the Ateneo de Manila University Law School and presently serves as an independent policy adviser to the Secretary of Agriculture, and to the Philippine Senate.
He holds a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University, where he was a Mason fellow, and holds a law degree and an economics degree from Ateneo de Manila University.
