Aribowo Romdam is a former senior executive at both Bank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Having served as Executive Director of Payment System Transformation and later as Executive Director of Human Resources before moving to the private financial technology sector as commissioners at different fintech companies, Aribowo has extensive knowledge on the regulatory and stakeholder landscape on payment, banking, and financial services in Indonesia. With two decades of experience spanning payment system development, innovation, and regulatory implementation, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Indonesia’s modern payments landscape including the introduction of QR Code Indonesia Standard (QRIS), National Payment Gateway (GPN) and BI Fast. His leadership extended to the regional level as well, where he guided ASEAN Central Bank Working Groups through the ASEAN Payment & Settlement Group, contributing to cross-border payment harmonization and regional financial integration
