Mrs. Voets is a highly committed public policy and sustainability strategist with twenty years of experience advising C-suite clients and board members across Asia on sustainability strategies and global risks; as a consultant, in-house, in a think tank and academia. She applies her deep understanding of sustainability, global value chains, geopolitics, and policy formulation across APAC to counsel senior leadership on strategic policy, advocacy and risk management strategies, to create shareholder value.
Mrs. Voets also tutors the Oxford Said Business School’s Leading Sustainable Corporations executive education program, where she guides corporations and nonprofits through the development of integrated sustainability strategies; and the Economist Group’s senior leadership course on International Relations: China, Russia, the US, and the Future of Geopolitics. She is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Asia Business Council, Asia’s leading CEO forum where she oversees the development of policy papers and organises discussion forums
Previously Mrs. Voets was the director of public affairs at the Hinrich Foundation where she led the expansion of a research program focused on advancing sustainable global trade in Asia. She also worked as an advisor to the CEO of the East West Seed Group and as the director of public affairs and sustainability for the Clarins Group in Asia Pacific. Prior to that she worked as a public affairs and sustainability Consultant for APCO Worldwide in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Mrs. Voets holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and a Master’s in Business Administration from EDHEC Business School. In 2021, she completed the Yale SOM Corporate Sustainability Management: Risk, Profit, and Purpose certification course. In 2022, she obtained a certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences on Leadership and Change. She also completed the Foundation for Shared Impact Board Governance Training
