Daniel Henderson is the Country Director of Vriens & Partners’ Thailand office. Based in Bangkok, Daniel helps clients design and implement effective government relations strategies across Southeast Asia with a focus on Thailand, Cambodia and Laos.
Prior to joining V&P, Daniel was a CoFounder of a programmatic advertising start up called Pacific Audiences. From 2011-2015, Daniel was a Manager at the US-ASEAN Business Council in Washington D.C. USABC represents 160+ U.S. Fortune 500 Companies in Southeast Asia, helping them advance their business interests. At the Council he has developed his network with a broad range of public, private and military stakeholders across a number of country and industry sectors.
Prior to joining the Council, he lived in Cambodia for two years where he led a team to establish a Cambodian branch of the world’s largest youth leadership development organization, AIESEC. In addition, he helped start a Cambodian branch of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global young professionals’ network that has its origins in the United States. Each of these organizations is dedicated to young professional development and entrepreneurship.
In addition to his work at Vriens & Partners, Daniel is Co-Chair of AMCHAM Thailand Government Affairs Council. The Council meets on a regular basis to coordinate government engagements and advocacy papers on behalf of the American business community in Thailand.
Daniel was born and raised in the United Kingdom and holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and Politics from the University of Leeds. He became a U.S. citizen in 2013.
