Gia is a Project Assistant in the Hanoi Office of Vriens & Partners where he facilitates research projects, monitors policy and regulatory development, and supports client/stakeholder management. Before joining the firm in July 2023, he was a Vriens & Partners intern conducting desk research projects while gaining deep insights into the politics and policy development of Vietnam.
During the summer of 2019, Gia accumulated nearly 250 hours working at the Department of Adolescent Health of the Vietnam National Children’s Hospital as an Intern Clinical Assistant assisting the assessment and healing of young patients with mental health issues. Practical experience in the health care industry sparked his deep fascination and appreciation toward the complexities and nuances presented in all issues.
Gia earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Texas Christian University. Gia’s undegraduate research interests include the meaning and neurospychological mechanism of Addiction and Perfectionism as a personality type.
