James Stent specializes in economic policy, governance, market entry and financial communications. James Stent has a long and distinguished career in financial services in Thailand and China. He was the senior executive vice president of the Bank of Asia in Bangkok until his retirement in 2002 and continued to serve the bank as a director until 2004. He is currently a director of the China Everbright Bank and previously served as a director of the Thai Rating and Information Services, a credit rating agency. Prior to Bank of Asia, James was the CEO of Rama Tower in Bangkok for two years where he was responsible for bringing about the financial turnaround of the company.
