Jeremy is the Country Director at Vriens & Partners’ head office in Singapore. He leads the firm’s Singapore advisory work and manages regional projects across Southeast Asia. Jeremy advises on projects in the sharing economy, technology and healthcare sectors.
Jeremy previously served at the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs for 11 years where he was involved in work across various regions and sectors. He has managed a team advancing Singapore’s bilateral relations with Indonesia in the political and economic sectors working alongside multiple government agencies. Jeremy has also worked on Singapore’s relations with Australia where he played a key role in the negotiations leading to the establishment of the Singapore-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He served at the Singapore Embassy in Cairo from 2011 to 2014 during the Arab Spring and was attached to Singapore’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations (UN) in New York in late 2015 to assist in negotiations during the 70th UN General Assembly.
Jeremy majored in Political Science and graduated with a Bachelors’ degree from the National University in 2007.
