Moe is a counselor with Vriens & Partners, Myanmar. Prior to this role, Dr. Thauk was Chief Representative for MetLife Myanmar and directed the Myanmar operation, developed market entry strategies and coordinated with various stakeholders including government, private companies and trade associations.
Before that, Dr. Thauk served as a Senior Research Analyst at Tractus Asia’s Yangon office, where he was primarily responsible for in-country market research projects such as corporate due diligence, supply dynamics research and government relations work.
Before working at the business sector, Dr. Thauk was a Medical Head of Project at Action Contra La Faim, providing medical relief in Myanmar’s remote areas. Dr. Thauk is a medical doctor and holds Master of Business Administration degree from Yangon Institute of Economics. He speaks English and Myanmar.
