Nhat Anh is a Associate in the Hanoi office of Vriens and Partners, where he provides policy research and analysis as well as support to stakeholder mapping and advocacy projects.
Prior to joining Vriens and Partners, Nhat Anh was a research analyst with the Reconnecting Asia Program at the Center for Strategic in International Studies (CSIS), where he closely monitored China’s Belt and Road Initiative, as well as other infrastructure initiatives in Asia. His professional experience also includes economic research with Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, research on Vietnam’s military modernization for the RAND Corporation in DC, and analysis on Southeast Asian domestic politics with UN Political Affairs Division in Bangkok.
Nhat Anh holds a MA in International Affairs from the School of Global Policy and Strategy of the University of California, San Diego. Previously, he received his BSc in International Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas.
