Long is a Senior Analyst in Vriens & Partners’ Hanoi office. With his experience working in the FDI promotion and ODA management, Long supports clients with in-depth policy research, regulatory analysis, and advocacy efforts.
Prior to joining Vriens & Partners, he spent nearly a decade at the Ministry of Planning and Investment (now Ministry of Finance), specifically at the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) and the Foreign Economic Relations Department (FERD).
At the FIA, Long coordinated Vietnam’s FDI promotion initiatives with strategic partners including ASEAN, South Korea, the U.S., and the EU. He acted as a liaison between foreign investors and government agencies for collecting policy recommendations and facilitating high-level dialogues to address regulatory and operational challenges. He also contributed to the development of national policies aimed at improving Vietnam’s investment environment.
Previously, Long worked at the FERD, where he supported the management and coordination of ODA technical assistance programs funded by ADB, JICA, and KOICA.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Leeds Beckett University in the UK.
