Hanh is a Senior Associate in Vriens & Partners’ Hanoi office. Prior to joining the team, Hanh worked for almost 15 years within the National Assembly of Viet Nam, becoming Deputy Director of the Social Affairs Department. Over the years she has advised several generations of parliamentarians, leading consultations between the senior legislative policymakers, government agencies, international organizations, Non-Government Organizations, and the private sector.
Hanh has been the recipient a number certificates of merit from ministries for contributions to the improvement of Vietnam’s legal framework.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Law (2000) from Viet Nam National University of Viet Nam. She was awarded a Australian Development Scholarship, and received a Master of Arts in International Politics from University of Melbourne, Australia in 2004 with a thesis on “Civil Service Corruption: a Comparative Study of Viet Nam and the United States”. Prior to this, Hanh worked as a researcher at the Viet Nam Academy of Social Sciences – Institute of Americas Studies.
