Senior Amb. Vu Quang Minh (ret.)

Amb. Minh is a career diplomat who served as Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and holds the life title of Senior Ambassador, the highest rank for a diplomat in Vietnam. Over a 35-year career, he served as the Ambassador of Vietnam to Germany (2022–2025), Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia (2017–2021), and Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland (2010–2014). His earlier diplomatic service includes a term as Counsellor and Head of the Economic Section at the Embassy of Vietnam in the United States (2002–2006).

Amb. Minh also spent 5 years on assignment as private secretary/assistant to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cam at the Office of Government, responsible for economic integration, investment, trade and economic development, and foreign affairs.

Amb. Minh brings specialized knowledge in economic diplomacy, trade and investment promotion, and the navigation of complex multilateral frameworks such as the WTO, APEC, and ASEAN.

Amb. Minh holds a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) from Princeton University, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar, and a BA/MA in International Economic Relations from the Moscow International Relations Institute (MGIMO). He also studied at Harvard University and the Manila Foreign Service Institute.
