As Associate Director at Vriens & Partners’ Jakarta office, Ardhanti manages client accounts in technology, media and telecommunication (TMT) as well as trade and tourism sector. She is a seasoned practitioner in public policy, government relations, and law, with over a decade of experience. Joining Vriens & Partners in 2024, she holds a CIPP/E certification and an advocate practice license.
Previously, Ardhanti spent over five years at GoTo Group (the holding company of Gojek and GoPay) as VP Public Policy and Government Relations, where she led policy initiatives across technology, data protection, taxation, and competition, while also spearheading policy work for their food, grocery, and logistics businesses. Her leadership guided the company through complex regulatory challenges.
Before GoTo, she was a Legal Counsel at Traveloka Group (also covering public policy and government relations works) and a Research Fellow at World Wide Web Foundation, focusing on transparency, accountability, and open data initiatives in Indonesia. Early in her career, she worked as an Associate at Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung in association with Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, contributing to projects with major clients like Google, Telstra, and Axiata.
Ardhanti significantly contributed to shaping Indonesia’s digital regulatory framework, serving as a key member of the Ministry’s drafting team for the Personal Data Protection Government Regulations and the Ministerial Regulation on eCommerce
She holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Indonesia and an Advanced Master of Laws in Digital Technology Law from Leiden University, the Netherlands, equipping her with deep expertise in cybersecurity, personal data protection, and tech law.
