Kyaw Win Htun brings clients of Vriens & Partners considerable experience in managing relations with government officials. He is a former regulatory affairs manager with a foreign-owned telecommunications provider in Myanmar where he was responsible for compliance issues, regulatory analysis and assessment, and coordination with government ministries on issues such as investment, imports, and taxes. He worked previously for Myanmar firms on overseas procurement and international business development. From 2003 to 2010, he was a planning officer at the Department of Hydropower Planning of the Ministry of Electric Power in Naypyitaw.
Kyaw Win Htun holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Computer Studies in Yangon and an online diploma in business management and entrepreneurship from Alison in Ireland.
He also studied Master of Development Studies in Yangon University of Economics.
