Mark Kristofer Querubin is an analyst at Vriens and Partners’ Manila office.
Prior to joining the firm, Mark worked at the National Security Council of the Philippines as a specialist where he was assigned to various geographical and policy desks, covering current and emerging concerns in places such as South Asia and Taiwan, and topics such as nuclear security, among others. His tasks included policy analysis, research, and inter-agency representation and liaising. He has 5 years of experience in public policy, geopolitics, and international relations.
Before working in the defense/security sector, he worked at the Presidential Communications Office under the Office of Global Media and Public Affairs, providing in-depth analyses on the latest international media landscape and working on strategic communications.
He has also worked as a technical officer in various national government entities across the executive and legislative branch, including the Department of Trade and Industry. He also performed legislative staff duties for the Senate of the Philippines.
Mark is a graduate of De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, with a degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs.
