Mohd Harith Ramzi

Mohd Harith Ramzi is a Senior Analyst at Vriens & Partners’ Malaysia office. Harith consults across the energy, healthcare, and technology sectors. In healthcare, he consults medical devices and pharmaceutical companies’ access advocacy work, particularly advanced therapy adoption within Malaysia’s healthcare system. He also leads workstreams for international organizations interested in expanding economic and investment collaboration at the state-level.

Prior to joining Vriens & Partners, Harith served in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and at the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, where he was involved in high-level policy coordination, strategic communications, and the formulation of domestic policy priorities. His earlier work also exposed him to rural development policy and Malaysia’s regional engagements within ASEAN, providing him with practical insights into federal–state dynamics and regional cooperation frameworks.

Harith holds a Master’s degree in Global Governance, Politics, and Security from American University in Washington, D.C., where he was a Fulbright Scholar. His academic research focused on international organizations and Southeast Asia’s geopolitical and domestic political dynamics, including Islamic nationalism, electoral politics, and the region’s responses to major power competition.
