Mohd Harith Ramzi is a Senior Analyst at Vriens & Partners’ Malaysia office. He supports the team and clients by providing desk research and analytical work underpinning the various government relations support for the firm’s clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Harith served in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, where he was involved in high-level policy coordination, strategic communications, and the development of domestic policy priorities. He has also worked on rural development and Malaysia’s regional engagements in ASEAN.
Harith holds a Master’s degree in Global Governance, Politics, and Security from American University in Washington, D.C., where he was a Fulbright Scholar. His research focused on Southeast Asia’s geopolitical dynamics, including Islamic nationalism, electoral politics, and the region’s response to major power competition. He is particularly interested in how emerging economies balance economic pragmatism with political-security concerns.
Outside of work, Harith enjoys hosting friends over coffee and travelling across continents.
