Nazhif Yusoff is the Country Director at Vriens & Partners’ Malaysia practice. He leads teams consulting in the ICT, healthcare, transportation, and tourism sectors. Working closely with clients and team members, he designs and leads public policy advocacy campaigns and helps clients navigate market entry. Nazhif also oversees the office’s continuous improvement initiatives across its knowledge, network, and business development verticals.
With over 10 years of experience in government and consulting, Nazhif previously worked at the Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation under the Ministry of Economy. There, he developed the agency’s export opportunities database for Malaysian oil and gas companies and facilitated international trade missions to Southeast Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East.
Nazhif is an alumnus of the prestigious two-year leadership development program Teach for Malaysia. Under TFM, he was posted to a rural school in northern Perak state, where he taught English and Malaysian History to over 300 students. There, he also initiated academic improvement programs in partnership with the Ministry of Education, corporate partners, NGOs, and constituency leaders.
He holds a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from Northern University of Malaysia. Nazhif is fluent in Malay and English, and proficient in Modern Standard Arabic and Brazilian Portuguese. Nazhif and his wife have three sons.
