Priscilla is an Associate at Vriens & Partners’ head office in Singapore. She supports the firm’s Singapore and regional clients in the technology and fintech sector, with a specialization in areas such as tech regulation, AI governance as well as market access.
Prior to joining Vriens & Partners, Priscilla was a Policy Officer at the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and the Infocomm Media Development Authority where she worked on technology and data-related policies, including the formulation of the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2.0. She worked closely with the Personal Data Protection Commission on data protection issues and cross border data flows mechanisms, and also oversaw bilateral, regional and multilateral government-to-government digital economy collaborations, with a focus on Northeast Asia. She started her career as a journalist at Singapore’s national broadcaster MediaCorp, covering politics, manpower, technology and social issues.
Priscilla graduated from Fudan University with a Double Major in Chinese Language and Literature, and Journalism. She also attained a Master of Journalism from the University of Hong Kong.
