Amelia Hew is an Analyst at Vriens & Partners’ office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has successfully supported ICT and payments clients in proactively responding to regulatory changes and helping position them favorably with government stakeholders. In healthcare, she was part of a team that worked to unlock funding for innovative drugs. She has also organized and facilitated workshops for a foreign development agency, synthesizing insights and outcomes into a comprehensive landscape assessment report.
Amelia’s previous experience includes a position as a research and on-field intern for a Member of Parliament in Malaysia. In this capacity, she conducted research on public policy, participated in constituency servicing, and managed social media platforms to enhance the public’s political literacy.
Amelia holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, summa cum laude, from Soka University of America, with study-abroad experiences in Spain and Japan. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and binge-watching her favorite shows.
