Hannah Teoh is an Analyst at Vriens & Partners’ office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Hannah’s sectoral experience spans across healthcare, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and sustainability. In healthcare, she has experience navigating healthcare financing policy reform, market access and penetration, and procurement specifications for medical devices. Her sustainability work covers policy development on circular economy and plastic sustainability while her FMCG experience includes navigating regulatory updates to front-of-package labelling, nutrition profiling policies, and marketing to children.
Prior to joining Vriens & Partners, Hannah was a research assistant under the University of Southern California’s Economics Department, conducting research on the feasibility of merger and acquisition assessment tools. She also researched under the Sustainability and Social Change Lab at Northeastern University, studying group dynamics and political polarization regarding climate policies in the United States. Additionally, she has past internship experience in management consulting and media.
Hannah graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in East Asian Area Studies. Her academic areas of focus include urban economics, development economics, and East Asian political economy. In her spare time, she enjoys watching video essays and is an avid Tetris player.
